The manufacturing sector in the UK accounts for 23 per cent of the economy, new research has revealed, with 48 per cent of exports manufactured goods. Valve Issue Temporarily Closes Forties Pipeline

The Forties North Sea oil pipeline suffered a second closure this month, although was back online relatively quickly after needing to be shut.
